Junior Legal Associate

About the Role

This Junior Associate role involves working closely with the law firm's Partner to gain hands-on experience in corporate, commercial, and intellectual property practice. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting legal research, and supporting due diligence and compliance matters.

As a fresher, you will have the opportunity to work in a small-team setup with direct mentorship and training, allowing you to take on responsibility from Day 1.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and legal documentation
• Assisting in due diligence and compliance matters
• Supporting corporate-commercial transactions
• Handling trademark filings, oppositions, and related work
• Conducting legal research and preparing notes/briefs
• Providing administrative support to the Partner and the team
• Staying up-to-date with legal developments and best practices in the field

Skills & Qualifications

• Good legal drafting and research skills
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Professional discipline and initiative
• Communication skills (written & verbal)
• Law Graduate (LL.B.) degree
• Good understanding of corporate, commercial, and intellectual property law
• Basic knowledge of legal software and tools
• Ability to work in a team and take on responsibility
