About the Role

As an Accountant at Confidential, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the finance team to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions. Your day-to-day tasks will involve reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Prepare and submit GST returns and income tax returns on time.
• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business growth and improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Skills & Qualifications

• Tally ERP proficiency.
• Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Knowledge of GST and income tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
• CA or CMA certification preferred.
