About the Role
As an Associate Scientist at Colgate-Palmolive, you will play a crucial role in the development of new products and formulations, ensuring they meet the company's high standards for quality and safety. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new product formulations, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
- Analyze data to inform product development decisions, identify trends, and optimize costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch new products, including marketing, sales, and supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Conduct performance management and mentoring activities to support team growth and development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, providing insights to inform business decisions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, such as chemistry, biology, or physics.
- Strong understanding of formulation development, data analytics, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, or statistical software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Relevant certifications, such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing, are a plus.
