About the Role

This role involves working as a Kubernetes Operator, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining containerized applications on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform using Eks, Helm, Terraform, and Ansible. As a Kubernetes Operator, you will be working closely with the development team to ensure smooth deployment and scaling of applications. Your primary focus will be on ensuring high availability, security, and performance of the applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement containerized applications on the AWS platform using Eks, Helm, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth deployment and scaling of applications.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance of the applications.
• Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines using tools like GitLab and Jenkins.
• Manage and monitor AWS resources, including S3 buckets, using AWS CLI and Terraform.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Bash to automate tasks and workflows.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Kubernetes, Eks, Helm, Terraform, and Ansible to ensure the team is using best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Eks, Helm, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration.
• Experience with AWS services, including S3, EC2, and RDS.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting and automation.
• Experience with GitLab and CICD pipelines.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
