About the Role

As a Security Consultant Intern at CloudSEK, you will work at the intersection of cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and product strategy. Your day-to-day tasks will involve hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment, threat research, AI-powered security platforms, and client-facing security consulting.

You will collaborate with CloudSEK's security research team to gain a deeper understanding of the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) for web, API, mobile, and cloud applications.
• Research and triage cybersecurity threats using CloudSEK platforms.
• Monitor dark web and underground forums for threat intelligence.
• Conduct OSINT, HUMINT, infrastructure hunting, and C2 mapping.
• Develop automation scripts to improve security workflows.
• Investigate exposed credentials, APIs, and security misconfigurations.
• Prepare client-ready security reports and risk summaries.

Skills & Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech, M.E / M.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, BCA, MCA, or Degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Security, Cyber Security, Information Technology (IT), or related technical field.
• Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT), Web Security, API Security, Mobile Security, Cloud Security, Threat Intelligence, OSINT, HUMINT, Attack Surface Management (ASM), CVEs, IOCs, TTPs, Digital Risk Protection, Security Research, Python / Automation Scripting, Dark Web Monitoring, Infrastructure Hunting, C2 Mapping, Responsible Disclosure, AI-Based Security Tools.
• Analytical Thinking, Problem-Solving, Communication Skills, Report Writing, Presentation Skills, Team Collaboration, Attention to Detail, Research Mindset.
