About the Role
As a Data Scientist at Cisco, you will be working on developing and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop data models and algorithms to solve complex business problems
- Collect and analyze large data sets to identify trends and insights
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions into business processes
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and machine learning
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and architectures to ensure data quality and integrity
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to measure the impact of data-driven solutions
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with popular libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn and TensorFlow
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and experience with statistical modeling
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
