About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Cinuniverse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze business requirements, technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify potential defects and areas for improvement.
You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and develop test cases to validate the functionality of the software.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing technical documentation, and using various tools such as Jira and Azure to track and manage defects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software products.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and develop test cases.
- Analyze technical documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify potential defects.
- Use Jira and Azure to track and manage defects, and ensure timely resolution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of software products.
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using various tools and technologies.
- Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in Jira, CI/CD, and Azure.
- Knowledge of authentication and hospitality-related technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
