About the Role
A Procurement Engineer at CIEL HR plays a crucial role in sourcing and procuring materials, goods, and services from suppliers. This involves creating and managing RFQs (Requests for Quotations), negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The Procurement Engineer is also responsible for coordinating logistics, customs clearance, and other related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and managing RFQs for procurement of goods and services
- Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms
- Coordinating logistics and transportation of goods and materials
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards
- Managing customs clearance and import procedures
- Placing purchase orders and tracking inventory levels
- Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of procurement software and tools, such as SAP or Oracle
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Basic knowledge of logistics, customs clearance, and import procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
