As an Intern - AI-Native Software Engineering at Chegg, you will work with a modern, cutting-edge tech stack and build features that ship to production and reach millions of students worldwide.

Responsibilities

You will contribute to end-to-end feature development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and participate in sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions.

• Feature Delivery & Ownership
• Engineering Work across the stack building user interfaces, extending backend microservices, and writing SQL queries, ETL pipelines, and data transformations.
• Leverage AWS services to build and maintain reliable, cloud-native infrastructure.
• Build dashboards, surface insights from large-scale data, and collaborate with analytics partners.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A solid foundation in at least one general-purpose programming language (Python, Java, Node etc.).
• Understanding of fundamental data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies quickly and work across unfamiliar stacks.
