Financial Accountant

About the Role

As a Financial Accountant at Captain Technologies, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, reconciliations, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will also be involved in the maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Your analytical skills will be essential in identifying trends and areas for improvement in the company's financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform analysis of financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement processes to improve financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other relevant laws and regulations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of tax regulations and laws.
