Palantir Data Engineer

About the Role

As a Palantir Data Engineer at Capgemini, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining optimal data pipeline architectures in Foundry. This involves identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements, as well as scheduling jobs for pipeline, monitoring data pipeline health, and configuring health checks and alerts.

You will work closely with business solutions leaders and teams to collect and translate information requirements into data to develop data-centric solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data warehousing, data modeling, and data integration for enterprise data environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern enterprise data-centric solutions using Palantir, DWH, Data Lake, and Data Lakehouse.
• Develop data governance solutions and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and translate information requirements into data-centric solutions.
• Design and implement internal process improvements in Foundry.
• Monitor data pipeline health and configure health checks and alerts.
• Develop and maintain optimal data pipeline architectures in Foundry.
• Implement analytics solutions using Palantir, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Google.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data warehousing, data modeling, and data integration.
• Experience with ETL tools, primarily Talend and/or other data integrator tools.
• Extensive experience with SQL and SQL scripting for relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Experience with programming languages like Python, Pyspark, JavaScript, Java, and Scala.
• Good understanding and working knowledge of Foundry tools, including Ontology, Contour, Object-explorer, Ontology-Manager, and Object-editor using Actions/Typescript.
• Experience with cloud data analytics platforms, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Google.
• Strong understanding of data governance concepts and data quality and integrity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 0-0 years of experience in data engineering.
