About the Role

As a Java developer fresher at BKC WeatherSys, you will be working on developing and maintaining software applications using Java programming language. Your primary focus will be on writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code to meet the requirements of the project. You will also be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based software applications, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements, and contribute to the design and implementation of software solutions.
• Write unit tests and integrate tests to ensure the stability and reliability of the software applications.
• Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Work with the QA team to identify and resolve defects in the software applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve the quality and efficiency of the software applications.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge base to ensure that the team has access to accurate and up-to-date information.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Java programming language, including Java 8 and above.
• Experience with web development frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms, including sorting, searching, and graph algorithms.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Basic knowledge of CSS and web development principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
