About the Role

In this Accountant - Receivables role at BCD Travel, you'll be responsible for managing and reconciling accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payment from clients. This involves analyzing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and communicating with clients to resolve any issues.

You'll work closely with the finance team to maintain accurate records, prepare financial reports, and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the receivables function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and reconcile accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payment from clients.
  • Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and communicate with clients to resolve any issues.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reports.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to implement process improvements and enhance the efficiency of the receivables function.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure timely payment and resolve any issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with accounting standards, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Accounting degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • MS Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Basic knowledge of finance operations and accounting principles.
