Join Barclays as a Software Engineer-JAVA Full stack Developer in the Customer Digital and Data technology team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence to revolutionize digital offerings and ensure unparalleled customer experiences. You will design, develop, and improve software using diverse engineering methodologies to deliver robust business, platform, and technology capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality AEM solutions utilizing technologies such as AEM Sites, Adobe Core Components, OSGi, Sling, JCR, Java (8–21), HTL, and cloud-native patterns.
• Implement complex AEM capabilities including Multi-Site Management (MSM), language copy, live copy customization, editable templates, and experience fragments.
• Provide technical leadership across the full development lifecycle: estimations, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, LTS upgrades, and production support across Author and Publish environments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to define requirements and ensure seamless platform integration.
• Enforce code quality and governance standards through peer reviews, static analysis, secure coding practices, and unit/integration testing with JUnit 5, Mockito, and AEM Mocks.
• Ensure platform security and compliance using XSS protection, AntiSamy, Granite security framework, ACLs, and secure secret management.

What You'll Need

• Strong hands-on experience in Java Full Stack development and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture and components.
• Deep understanding of OSGi, Sling, JCR, HTL, client-side frameworks, and cloud-native application design.
• Demonstrated experience in unit testing, integration testing, and automated test frameworks (JUnit 5, Mockito, AEM Mocks).
• Knowledge of security best practices, access control lists (ACLs), and secure handling of content and sensitive data.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, strategic thinking, and mentoring abilities.
