About the Role

As a Java API Developer at Barclays, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital landscape of the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and improve software using various engineering methodologies that provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues.

You will be working on developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot, and will be expected to have a strong understanding of Spring Framework, Hibernate, and JPA. Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Ability to comprehend, implement, and influence complex problems and solutions with an analytical approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 0-0 years of experience in software development.
