Data/ETL Designers

About the Role

This Data/ETL Designer role at Barclays involves designing, developing, and improving software applications that support the bank's regulatory functions across various clusters. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS Advanced Concepts, including Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define software requirements and devise solution strategies.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, architects, and project managers across regions and clusters to deliver robust design and technical solutions.
• Proactively engage in Agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and product demos.
• Troubleshoot QA, UAT, production, and performance issues, identifying root causes and options for optimization.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback across the team.

Additional Information
