About the Role

As an Autodesk Software Development Engineer, you'll be part of a self-organized Agile team responsible for building, owning, and operating cloud services. Your day-to-day tasks will involve contributing to various aspects of software development, including back-end, front-end, DevOps, and quality engineering.

You'll work closely with senior engineers to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, and participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning. Your role will be crucial in supporting service operations, including monitoring, alerting, logging, metrics, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of cloud services, including back-end, front-end, and DevOps activities.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning to ensure the team's goals are met.
• Support service operations, including monitoring, alerting, logging, metrics, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest improvements and innovations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C#, Java, Python, and Go.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with front-end development frameworks, including Express.js.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and API design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
