R Package Developer
Job Description
About the Role
This R Package Developer position is an exciting opportunity to work on a project optimizing data processing from clinical trials, utilizing multiple AI techniques and collaborating with Biostatisticians and Programmers to adopt and develop tools.
As an individual contributor, you will review and create code, work with sponsor SMEs to gather feedback, and update the code and requirements accordingly, while also providing guidance on tool usage and translating feedback into product features.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and create R code for data analysis, transformations, plotting, and visualization.
- Work with sponsor SMEs to gather feedback on code and requirements, and update accordingly.
- Collaborate with Biostatisticians and Programmers to adopt and develop tools for clinical trials data processing.
- Provide guidance on tool usage and translate feedback into product features.
- Participate in the development of products and tools, including requirements gathering, analysis, and product development.
- Work with Agile methodologies, preferably using JIRA, and have experience with code management solutions like GitHub.
- Stay up-to-date with software development life-cycle, testing, automation, and deployments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Expertise in R for data analysis, data transformations, data plotting, and visualization.
- Experience in statistical data processing in clinical trials and drug development.
- Basic SAS knowledge is required.
- R Shiny package familiarity.
- Good communication skills, especially in the area of requirements analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience with GitHub, Agile Methodologies, and AWS services is preferred.
