Indian Accounts & Tax Associate

About the Role

This Indian Accounts & Tax Associate role involves working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with tax laws, and adherence to accounting standards. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account maintenance. Your expertise in GST, TDS, and ROC compliance will be crucial in maintaining the company's financial health.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including GST, TDS, and income tax.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with the finance team to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations, and ensure the company's compliance.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and ROC compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in accounting or taxation (CA, CS, CMA) is a plus.
