About the Role

As a Retail Sales Executive at Asian Paints, you will be responsible for driving the growth of retail business in a defined territory by creating, nurturing, and managing a network of dealers and stakeholders. Your primary goal will be to achieve overall business value and volume targets.

You will work closely with dealers to assist them in achieving their sales targets, monitor the growth of core products, and explore new business opportunities. Your role will involve extensive travelling and pan-India mobility, making it an exciting opportunity for those who enjoy exploring new places.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare plans to achieve assigned business objectives for the territory on a monthly level and work towards achieving targets.
  • Assist dealers in achieving their overall sales targets through regular visits, scheme communication, and timely material service.
  • Monitor and ensure the growth of core products along with new and focused products.
  • Explore and open new dealer counters to expand the overall sustainable sale potential in the territorial market.
  • Organize promotional activations and product awareness meets for dealers and contractors.
  • Ensure payment collections from dealers as per the set benchmarks and monitor outstanding payments on a regular basis.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in any stream (BA/B.Sc./B.Com/BBA/BBM/BMS) with a minimum of 50% marks throughout education without any backlogs.
  • Functional competencies: Product knowledge, analytical skills.
  • Behavioral competencies: Planning and result orientation, communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency with MS Office, MS Excel is mandatory.
