Social Media Marketing Intern
About the Role
Role Overview We are looking for a Brand & Social Media Intern who is passionate about storytelling, content strategy, and social media culture. You will work closely with the brand and creative teams to build engaging narratives, support content execution, and grow AppsForBharat's social presence across platforms. This role is ideal for someone who understands digital trends, enjoys experimenting with content formats, and wants hands-on exposure to brand building in a fast-growing consumer tech company. The intern will primarily work on content and campaigns for: Sri Mandir Store Kundli Guide Key Responsibilities 1. Brand Storytelling & Content Strategy Support the development of social media narratives across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms Collaborate with designers, video editors, and content creators to bring campaigns and ideas to life Ensure consistency in brand tone, messaging, and visual storytelling Contribute fresh ideas for devotional, cultural, and trend-led content Design engaging posts for Sri Mandir Store and Kundli audiences 2. Social Media Planning & Execution Assist in planning and maintaining content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and brand objectives Coordinate with internal stakeholders for content approvals and execution Support day-to-day publishing, scheduling, and platform management activities Stay updated on social media trends, creator formats, and audience preferences Identify trending content formats, hooks, and storytelling styles relevant to the brand 3. Performance Tracking & Insights Monitor engagement metrics such as reach, shares, saves, watch time, and audience growth Analyze content performance and identify high-performing themes and formats Share insights and recommendations to improve engagement and content effectiveness Help create weekly/monthly social media performance reports Use data and audience behaviour to optimize future content strategies 4. Experimentation & Creative Thinking Identify opportunities to improve existing content strategies and audience engagement Experiment with new storytelling styles, trends, and platform-native formats Adapt social media trends creatively for devotional and astrology-focused audiences Support initiatives around community engagement and audience interaction Bring a creator-first mindset to ideation and execution What We're Looking For Strong interest in social media, branding, content strategy, and digital storytelling Understanding of Instagram trends, creator ecosystems, and short-form content Ability to analyze social media performance metrics and derive insights Creative thinker with strong content ideation skills Familiarity with Canva and basic social media design principles Awareness of internet culture, trends, and viral content formats Good communication and collaboration skills Interest in spirituality, devotional content, or cultural storytelling is a plus Bonus Points If You Have managed a personal content page, college media page, or creator account Have experience creating reels, memes, or trend-based content Are familiar with Canva, CapCut, InShot, or basic editing tools Understand devotional, spiritual, or astrology-focused content audiences Enjoy experimenting with social media formats and storytelling styles What You'll Gain Hands-on experience in brand building and social media strategy Exposure to social media content planning, analytics, and audience engagement Opportunity to work with cross-functional creative and marketing teams A strong portfolio of strategic and creative work Experience working in a fast-growing consumer startup environment If you love storytelling, internet culture, and creating content that resonates with millions, we'd love to hear from you.
