ML Infrastructure Service Reliability Engineer (Karnataka)

About the Role

As an ML Infrastructure Service Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports Apple's machine learning services. This includes ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based infrastructure, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.

You will work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our machine learning applications.

This role requires a strong understanding of cloud computing, containerization, and networking, as well as experience with automation tools and scripting languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions for machine learning services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency
• Work with software engineers to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of machine learning applications
• Monitor and analyze infrastructure performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing and machine learning

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 0-4 years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or GCP
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Kubernetes
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls
• Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible or Terraform
• Strong scripting skills in languages, such as Python or Bash
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
