Appbay technologies is an IT service and consultancy firm that focuses on giving tailored solutions leveraging the power of low-code platforms like Appian BPM, Outsystems, Salesforce and other web based technologies Job Description Appbay Technologies is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Associate ServiceNow Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development concepts and a keen interest in IT Service Management (ITSM), workflow automation, and enterprise platform development. You will work closely with senior developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to build, customize, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Key Responsibilities Assist in the development, configuration, and customization of applications on the ServiceNow platform. Support the implementation and maintenance of ITSM modules, workflows, forms, business rules, and catalog items. Develop and enhance ServiceNow applications, scripts, and integrations under the guidance of senior team members. Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Assist in creating and maintaining ServiceNow workflows and process automation solutions. Participate in testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues. Support integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using APIs and web services. Maintain technical documentation, configuration details, and development artifacts. Participate in code reviews and adhere to ServiceNow development best practices. Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, modules, and platform capabilities. Required Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 0–2 years of experience in software development, application support, or ServiceNow development. Basic understanding of the ServiceNow platform and IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts. Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web development fundamentals. Understanding of relational databases and SQL concepts. Familiarity with workflows, automation, and business process management concepts. Basic knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP services, and system integrations. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Eagerness to learn and grow within the ServiceNow ecosystem. Preferred Skills Exposure to ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or Service Portal. Familiarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and UI Policies. Understanding of Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of Git or other version control systems. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is a plus. Exposure to cloud technologies and enterprise application platforms is an advantage. Why Join Us?
