Technician - Cardiology

About the Role

As a Technician - Cardiology at Apollo BGS Hospitals, you will be responsible for performing various cardiology tests, including echo tests, TMT, and holter tests. You will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Day-to-day, you will be performing routine tests, preparing reports, and maintaining equipment. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all patients are counseled and informed about their test results and treatment options.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask, and excellent communication skills. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, and you must be able to remain calm and composed under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform echo tests on all patients and prepare reports for the Head of Department (HOD)
• Conduct emergency and bedside echos in various wards as needed and report back to the HOD
• Perform TMT according to prescribed protocols, including preparation of patients and processing of reports
• Perform holter tests and report results to the doctors concerned
• Responsible for regular check of all equipment's and maintenance of stock in the department
• Prepare duty roster in consultation with the HOD and ensure billing of all patients is done as per hospital policies
• Liaise with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients

Skills & Qualifications

• BS or diploma in Cardiology
• Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge
• Problem-solving skills and ability to multitask
• Compassionate with good communication skills
• Excellent teamwork skills
