Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in Ranchi for the role of Assistant Professor of Computer Science. The role involves developing and delivering high-quality lectures, conducting research, and mentoring students in foundational and advanced topics of computer science. Key responsibilities include creating robust curricula, guiding thesis research, updating course materials to reflect current industry trends, and contributing to the academic community through publishing research and participating in departmental activities. Faculty are also expected to foster an engaging learning environment, encourage innovative thinking, and support interdisciplinary collaboration. Qualifications Strong expertise in Computer Science concepts and practical applications. Proficiency in Programming and hands-on experience in Data Science methodologies and tools. Knowledge and experience in Cybersecurity and related technologies. Ability to develop curricula for undergraduate and postgraduate Computer Science programs and design effective teaching methodologies. PhD in Computer Science (completed, pursuing, or thesis submitted). Strong commitment to research, including publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at academic conferences. Passion for teaching, mentoring, and contributing to the professional and personal development of students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams.
