Financial Reporting Accountant, Funds

About the Role

This Financial Reporting Accountant role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP standards. You will work closely with the fund accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, as well as providing audit support and valuation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP standards, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.
• Perform cash and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Provide audit support, including responding to auditor inquiries and providing documentation as required.
• Contribute to the preparation of NAV (Net Asset Value) production, including valuation of assets and liabilities.
• Collaborate with the fund accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and implement changes as necessary.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP standards, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in financial reporting software, such as Excel and financial statement preparation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant certifications, such as CA or CMA, are a plus.
