About the Role
This Systems Specialist role is with Allianz Commercial, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community.
Responsibilities
As a Data engineer, you will be responsible for developing robust solutions as per requirement in an Agile landscape.
- Developing the GAFS velocity layer (end Q1, Q2)
- Developing the Machine Learning Data Layer (AIccelerate) - Databricks to enable predictive models on demand (Q3,Q4)
What You'll Need
- Azure Data engineer (Preferred Databricks or Fabrics)
- Python / PySpark programming
- Strong ETL/ELT and Data warehousing knowledge
- Experience in data integration (batch, Kafka events, etc.), processing (ETL/ELT), and migration on-premises/cloud (Azure)
- Strong SQL skills (T-SQL and PL-SQL)
- Strong knowledge of different RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Knowledge of Agile concepts and hands-on experience with Confluence & Jira
