About the Role

As a Logo Designer Intern at AlienHouse Networks, you'll be part of a remote team focused on creating and refining logo concepts that align with client brand identities. Your day-to-day tasks will involve brainstorming visual ideas, developing initial sketches and digital drafts, and collaborating with the design and marketing teams to incorporate feedback.

You'll also assist in preparing final logo files for various digital and print formats, help maintain brand consistency across different visual assets, and support basic branding projects. Additionally, you'll stay informed about current design trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine logo concepts that align with client brand identities.
  • Brainstorm and create visual ideas for logos, including initial sketches and digital drafts.
  • Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to incorporate feedback and ensure brand consistency.
  • Prepare final logo files for various digital and print formats.
  • Support basic branding projects, including organizing design files and staying informed about current design trends and best practices.
  • Assist in maintaining brand consistency across different visual assets.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Graphic Design and Graphics, with the ability to translate ideas into clear visual concepts.
  • Demonstrated skills in Logo Design, including creating original, scalable, and versatile logo marks.
  • Understanding of Branding principles, such as visual identity, brand guidelines, and consistent use of brand elements.
  • Knowledge of Typography, including font pairing, hierarchy, and legibility across different media.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma or similar).
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant design work, especially logo and identity projects.
  • Attention to detail, openness to feedback, and ability to meet deadlines in a remote, collaborative environment.
  • Current student or recent graduate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field is preferred but not required.
