About the Role

As a Research Software Engineer at Algo University, you will work on cutting-edge projects that involve graph-based systems, algorithmic solutions, and AI systems.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Designing and implementing efficient algorithmic solutions for complex computational problems.
• Analysing and optimising algorithms for performance, scalability, and memory usage using Big-O analysis.
• Applying problem-solving techniques such as greedy algorithms, recursion, and dynamic programming.
• Developing and working with core data structures including linked lists, stacks, queues, and hash tables.
• Building and evaluating algorithmic models using datasets.
• Applying concepts from discrete mathematics, combinatorics, and graph theory to solve real-world problems.
• Collaborating with engineering and AI teams to integrate algorithms into production systems.
• Contributing to the development of Neuro-Symbolic AI systems combining rule-based and learning-based approaches.
• Continuously researching and implementing improvements based on emerging techniques in algorithms and AI.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with Kaggle or similar platforms.
