Cloud Security & DevOps Engineer

About the Role

As a Cloud Security & DevOps Engineer at Ajaia | AI Consultancy, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure and ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams. Your primary goal will be to ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of cloud-based systems and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks and implement DevOps practices to improve the speed and quality of software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architecture for applications and services.
• Develop and maintain DevOps tools and scripts to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of cloud-based systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and identify potential security vulnerabilities.
• Implement and manage cloud security controls, including firewalls, access controls, and encryption.
• Monitor and analyze cloud security logs to identify potential security threats and incidents.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud security policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, technologies, and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong understanding of cloud security concepts, including identity and access management, data encryption, and network security.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including containerization, orchestration, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of scripting languages, including Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with security frameworks and standards, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001.
• Certifications in cloud security, DevOps, or related fields, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Certified DevOps Engineer.
