Quality Analyst (Manual Testing & Selenium)

About the Role

This Quality Analyst role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will be responsible for designing test cases, executing test scenarios, identifying defects, and developing automation scripts using Selenium. Your primary focus will be on manual testing and automation using Selenium WebDriver.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform various types of testing including Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and System Testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Develop, execute, and maintain Selenium automation scripts.
• Create and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium and TestNG/JUnit.
• Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Manual Testing concepts and methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with TestNG/JUnit frameworks.
• Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) and Data-Driven Frameworks.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Basic understanding of API testing using Postman.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
