Job Description
About the Role
As an EMEA General Accountant at ADP, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for the European, Middle Eastern, and African regions. This will involve managing the general ledger, accounts receivable, and statutory compliance, as well as performing intercompany reconciliations and ensuring adherence to IFRS standards.
You will work closely with stakeholders to address their financial queries and provide timely and accurate financial information. Additionally, you will be involved in the audit and compliance process, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly documented and in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Perform accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing, credit control, and reconciliations.
- Ensure statutory compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations in the EMEA region.
- Conduct intercompany reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Provide timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders, including management and external auditors.
- Assist in the audit and compliance process, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly documented and in line with company policies.
- Stay up-to-date with IFRS standards and ensure that financial reporting is in compliance with these standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and other financial accounting software.
- Knowledge of IFRS standards and statutory compliance requirements in the EMEA region.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
