About the Role
In this role as a DevOps Engineer at Accenture in India, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of software systems from development to deployment. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement automation, monitoring, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing and deployment scripts using tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and ensure seamless deployment.
- Implement monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment of software applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software deployment, configuration, and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.
- Document and share knowledge with team members to improve overall team efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
- Certifications in DevOps, cloud computing, or related fields are a plus.
