Job Title: Compliance Executive Location: Pune Qualification: ACCA Department: Compliance / Global Business Services Reporting To: Compliance Manager / Associate Partner Role Overview The Compliance Executive will be responsible for reviewing accounting transactions from a statutory and regulatory perspective and preparing compliance workings required for statutory filings. The role involves coordinating with internal expert teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of regulatory compliances. Key Responsibilities Review books of accounts prepared by the accounting team to ensure transactions are appropriately captured from a statutory compliance perspective. Identify transactions that have implications under applicable laws such as Income-tax, TDS, GST, Companies Act, and other regulatory frameworks. Prepare statutory working papers and schedules required for regulatory filings including GST, TDS, Income-tax and other applicable compliances. Perform reconciliations and analytical reviews to ensure completeness and accuracy of data used for statutory filings. Highlight discrepancies, missing information, or potential compliance risks and coordinate with the accounting team for necessary corrections. Maintain structured documentation and compliance working files supporting each statutory submission. Liaise with internal expert teams (tax, regulatory, secretarial, etc.) to facilitate timely preparation and submission of statutory filings. Track compliance timelines and ensure that required information and documentation are made available to the relevant teams within stipulated timelines. Support the team during audits, assessments, or regulatory reviews by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
